Had the pleasure of stopping in today for a quick dinner. Our server CJ was a delight and the food came out spectacular!! Definitely blown away by how fresh and delicious everything was. Can’t wait to come back next time we are here. Ambiance is super cool too.
I’ve been here twice in a couple months. I absolutely love it! The food was amazing but the servers were excellent!! The first time I was served by Alec. I wanted to take him home with me! The serving was Nick. They were so knowledgeable about the restaurant. It was such a joy to eat here that I will be back every time in in Texas!!
11/15/25 - Always a joy and superb service! I decided to host our Friendsgiving dinner here this year! Jaylin our waitress was fabulous , very polite, and a blessing. Everyone left happy, full, and delighted with their meal selections and enjoyed the beauty of Wunsche. Dessert is always a must! 😃🥧🍰 Delicious, Amazing, Fabulous, one of a kind place with outstanding service full of unique history and filled with a complete satisfaction ride for your taste buds . Sisi our waitress was excellent and the reason we’re already planning our return. Thank you, for all you do. We enjoyed every bite of our meals. Shared the onion rings and crisp to perfection cheese curds. I was very happy with my lunch. I had the tasty fried catfish, delicious fries, and hush puppies. We are true believers in enjoying the small and great things in life so we decided to order every dessert and shared! Wonderful!😋🍰🥧🍨
We had a great experience at Wunsche Bros today. Our server, Barbara, did an excellent job taking care of us and getting everything right. I ordered the Wunsche Bros cheeseburger and added bacon and egg — it was amazing. My wife ordered the Black and Bleu Burger and loved it, and my sister‑in‑law got the chicken tenders with sweet potato fries, which were also delicious. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I tried the Goose Island IPA — they even let you sample it first — and it was really good. My wife had a mimosa, and my sister‑in‑law had a Dr Pepper. Everything hit the spot. And pardon our pictures; we were so excited to eat that we forgot to take them when the plates first came out looking beautiful. The general manager, Mark, stopped by our table to check on us and chat for a bit. You could see him out on the floor staying busy, helping his team, and keeping everything running smoothly. The whole place had an easygoing, efficient vibe where everyone seemed relaxed and confident. The building itself is part of the charm — a true historic landmark in Spring. It’s even mentioned in local haunted‑history books because of the little unexplained things that have happened over the years. The décor is absolutely lovely and adds so much character. Overall, great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

I love this place. The food is amazing. This is Definitely a go to place. We have been here 3 times and our first waiter which I can’t remember his name but he was awesome and our second time was Babs she was great as well. Our 3rd waiter was also good thank you guys.
we live like 5 min away and have been talking about dropping by here- finally did today and was not disappointed. Dark and chill vibe, wasn't crowded, noise level was doable. The staff was nice from the time we entered and was seated. We got Miss Harmony as our server. She was very knowledgable about the drinks and was able to help me make a choice on a drink. She was attentive and checked on us. I got the wunsche burger and my bf got the catfish and elote. 10/10 good food and they serve good size portions!
Wunsche Bros. completely blew us away! The atmosphere in this historic building is awesome, but the food is the real star. The chicken fried steak with white gravy was perfectly crispy and delicious, especially paired with the mac and cheese. The burger topped with a fried egg was juicy, full of flavor, and those potato wedges were spot on. Excellent service and great drinks, too. We’ll definitely be back!
This is our first time back at Wunsche Bros in over a year. Zoe was a wonderful server, going out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. Her recommendations were spot on! We tried the pork bites appetizer, the fried catfish and three veggie sides. The squash casserole is just the right amount of sweet and crunchy. Have them leave off the bread crumbs if you are gluten free. The "Im your Huckleberry" cocktail was so good that we ordered a second round.
Over 15k reviews and a 4.9 says a lot, so we had to check this one out! Totally worth it! All the way from service to the food our experience was 100% worth it. As per the food we had the Cheese Bites (so yum and came out super fresh!) Beer Bread, Stuffed Poblano Peppers, Side Mac & Cheese, and the notorious Pork Chop! Genuinely all a 10/10. Beer bread was a little different, but in a good way ya know? Poblano Peppers — SUPER underrated, but I’m telling you it’s delicious! Vegetarian or not, they were packed with flavor and incredibly filling. Veggies inside were all tender and mixed well with the green crema on top. This was probably my favorite out of everything we had tbh. Side Mac wasn’t anything too crazy, just pretty basic Mac! Still a delicious dish especially if you’re hankering for something cheesy. As per the Pork Chop, it’s HUGE! Even 2 people tackling it was a challenge so just prepare yourself and bring an empty belly. Flavor was all there, outside had a beautiful sear on it. Only thing to note is that it was a smidge on the drier side but overall very very good. Had a couple drinks as well, they were nice and strong. Recommend getting a couple. Our server was fantastic, he made sure to check in on a regular basis and our cups were always kept full. He was genuine and fun and even told us a couple ghost stories 😉. Overall an extremely pleasing experience. Old Town Spring is somewhere that is actually worth it to explore. Recommend checking it and Wunsche Bros out!
